if you're here, that means our save-the-date made it to your mailbox — yay! we're thrilled to celebrate this exciting time in our lives alongside you.

you may recognize one of the photos below from the postcard we sent. surprise! there were four versions. we wanted our save-the-dates to bring you into our world in some small way, so we spent an afternoon driving around town and taking film photos of a few places we hold dear. we turned each photo into a postcard, then personalized each one with an ink stamp abby carved by hand.

nashville

we're both nashville natives, which are increasingly hard to come by around here. after both leaving tennessee for a spell, we eventutally found our way back — and then each other. so when it came time to pick our wedding location, there was really no question. for those of you who also call nashville home, we're excited to spend a night out on the town with you. and for those who don't, we can't wait to welcome you to our city :)

the parthenon

we cultivated our relationship through book club. many meetings took place (and still do!) on the field in front of the parthenon, one of nashville's greatest and weirdest treasures.

this is the bar where we had our first date! it also discreetly houses one of nashville's finest restaurants, where we have since celebrated many special occasions and milestones.

pictured here is the annual tickseed flower superbloom at our neighborhood park. it's beloved by east nashvillians and especially so by us because this is where anna proposed (and abby said yes!) <3

both our ceremony and reception are indoors!

are children invited to the wedding?

we adore your kids (we really do!), but we’ve chosen to celebrate with an adults-only evening so everyone can let their hair down!

is there parking available on-site?

there is plenty of parking on site, with the option to leave vehicles in the gated lot overnight. the venue is also easily accessible by rideshare and is walking distance from many nearby hotels!

anna's first appearance at book club earned rave reviews, in no small part because of the homemade vanilla bean lemonade she brought to woo abby. clearly it worked! here's the recipe for any of you looking to do some woo-ing of your own :)
